Contact Information: Aurora Family YMCA, General Information 630.896.9782 Be a Part of the First Ever YMCA G.O.L.F. Academy The Heritage YMCA is excited to announce the first-ever, YMCA G.O.L.F. Academy! Golf through the YMCA G.O.L.F. Academy is a perfect marriage of the qualities, rules and traditions of golf combined with the 160 year old fundamental Spirit, Mind and Body healthy living philosophy of the YMCA. The academy will be lead by golf-enthusiast and Florida Southern College graduate, Brett Erwin. Brett has over 18 years of golf experience and has worked with some of the best PGA Tour instructors in the world and is a scratch golfer himself. The core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility are key elements to the YMCA G.O.L.F. Academy where the kids will learn to golf and G.O.L.F: Give back and be a Caring person, Operate in life with Honesty and integrity, Learn to Respect others as well as yourself through engaging in healthy activities and habits and to Face challenges and accept Responsibility. The academy not only teaches the great game of golf, but is also gives your child the tools necessary to be a healthy and productive individual in our community. An important part of the YMCA's mission is to help families live healthier together. The YMCA G.O.L.F. Academy is for kids ages 8-17. It is a week-long program (Monday-Friday) and lasts for two hours each day. If you have your own golf clubs the cost of the YMCA G.O.L.F. Academy is $119 or $169 if we provide the clubs (you get to keep them). Private lessons are also available for anyone interested by appointment only and should be arranged through Brett Erwin by sending him an email or calling 630.896.9782.
